Norman Oldham (1882-1916)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

OLDHAM, NORMAN. Private. Machine Gun Corps. Born 32 Chapel Street, Berry Brow, Huddersfield, 25.11.1882. Son of Mr and Mrs James Oldham, 11 School Lane, Berry Brow. Educated Berry Brow Council School. Employed as a painter and decorator. Married. Lived 45 Haigh Street, Lockwood. Enlisted 4.12.1916. Wounded in the left thigh at Messines Ridge on 28.9.1918. Died at home, 45 Haigh Street, Lockwood, on 8.11.1921.
