Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

MITTON, NORMAN. Rifleman. No C/6904. 18th Battalion King's Royal Rifle Corps. Born Kirkheaton 22.2.1896. Educated Bradley Church of England School. Lived 10 Colne Bridge, Bradley. Employed as a cloth finisher by Messrs Learoyd Brothers. Enlisted 16.8.1915. Killed in action during the Battle of the Somme, 15.9.1916. Has no known grave. Commemorated THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
