The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

LOCKWOOD, NORMAN. Private. No 118697. 53rd Field Ambulance Royal Army Medical Corps. Born Deighton 16.7.1891. Educated Fartown Grammar School. Employed as a woollen salesman. Lived 29 Clara Street, Fartown. Single. Enlisted May 1917. Wounded at Albert, France on 18.8.1918. Died of wounds at No 2 British Red Cross Hospital, Rouen 21.8.1918 age 27 years. Buried ST. SEVER CEMETERY EXTENSION, ROUEN. Grave location:- Block Q, Plot 4, Row I. Grave 9.
