The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

LOCKWOOD, NORMAN. Private. No 14324. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Shepley. Lived Pit House Farm, Shepley. Married, with two children. Employed by Mr Harris Wood, quarry owner. Killed in action, 15.4.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
