- BATTY, NORMAN. Private. No G/52504. 2nd Battalion Middlesex Regiment. Formerly No 39018 York and Lancaster Regiment. Born Scissett. Enlisted in Pontefract. Killed in action, 31.7.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
