- STRINGER, NELSON. Private. No 29/678. 9th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Born Huddersfield. Son of Mrs J. Stringer, 9 King Cliffe, Birkby, Huddersfield. Employed by Messrs Crowther and Nicholson, Ashbrow Mills. Killed in action near St. Quentin on 14.9.1917, aged 29 years. Buried HARGICOURT BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row D, Grave 10.
