The Bioscope (21/Oct/1915):

Monty’s Monocle. — A clever and ingenious comedy, in which Monty, who sports a monocle of wonderful properties, is able to “see things” that are invisible to other persons. Well acted and of good quality. (December 2nd. 755 ft.)

Kinematograph Weekly (28/Oct/1915):

Monty’s Monocle (C). — Monty secures a post as assistant to Professor Heli, a clever scientist and the inventor of the wonderful Gamma Rays. These rays impart to Monty’s monocle the property of enabling him to see things that are not visible to the ordinary observer. By its means, he succeeds in scoring over his landlady; the Rev. A. Weedrop, an hypocritical temperance reformer, and Syd, his hated rival for the hand of the fair Marjorie. Released Dec. 2nd, length 755 ft.
