Milestone (WHR.H5), Woodhead Road, Hagg Wood, Honley

A surviving milestone on the former Huddersfield and Woodhead Turnpike Road.

According to the 1854 O.S. map, it reads "HUDDERSFIELD 5 MILES. WOODHEAD 8½ MILES."
