Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BOTTOMLEY, MICHAEL STANLEY. Gunner. No 32879. 'C' Battery 88th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born Victoria Street, Lockwood, 1893. Son of Dyson and Catherine Bottomley. Educated Huddersfield Parish Church School. Employed as a porter at Huddersfield Railway Station. Single. Killed in action, 22.4.1918, aged 28 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
