The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

ROBINSON, MARK. Private. No 333545. 1/9th Battalion Highland Light Infantry. Born Lindley, Huddersfield, 30.8.1892. Son of Jesse and Annie Amelia Robinson, 47 Burbeary Road, Lockwood, Huddersfield. Educated Lockwood Council School. Employed as a hairdresser. Married. Enlisted 12.12.1915. Killed in action, 13.4.1918. Has no known grave. Commemorated PLOEGSTEERT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
