OUR DOMESTIC CIRCLE.

One thing which crops up again and again is an account of a man who tamed a goose. This bird, called Solomon, by-the-way, took a fancy to the milkman, and, being kindly treated, followed him continually upon his rounds The tender respect and love of Solomon so pleased the milkman that he made an offer for both Solomon and his wife, Sarah. Now the reward for kindness has overtaken him, for the popularity of the bird has drawn attention to the excellent quality of the milk sold by his master, and Solomon each day waddles after the footsteps of his master as be goes his business rounds.
