The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SIMS, MALLINSON. Private. No 51844. 12th Battalion The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment). Formerly No 4320 Highland Light Infantry. Born Lockwood, Huddersfield. Married. Lived 6 Cable Street, St. Thomas's Road, Huddersfield. Employed as a finisher by Mr W. H. Murgatroyd. Killed in action, 25.4.1918. Buried MESSINES RIDGE CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row E, Grave 25.
ROH:- St. Stephen's Church, Rashcliffe.
