Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

FREEBOROUGH, MALLINSON. Private. No 86036. 4th Battalion The Middlesex Regiment. Born Primrose Hill 27.6.1898. Son of Mrs Emma Hartley, 3 Prince Street, Primrose Hill, Huddersfield. Educated Stile Common Council School. Employed as a wire heald maker by Messrs Barlow and Hocknell. Single. Enlisted 18.2.1917. Died from shrapnel wounds to the chest at No 56 Casualty Clearing Station, Gezaincourt, 26.8.1918, aged 20 years. Buried BAGNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 4, Row E, Grave 3.
ROH:- St. Matthew's Church, Primrose Hill; Almondbury War Memorial.
