The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KENNEALLY, LUKE LACKY. Private. No 1765. Royal Army Medical Corps. Born Swallow Street, Huddersfield, 2.1.1884. Son of Martin and Elizabeth Kenneally, 12 Henry Street, Huddersfield. Employed as a labourer. Single. Enlisted September 1914. Died of bronchitis and the effects of being gassed at Royds Hall Military Hospital on 2.3.1919, aged 36 years. Buried EDGERTON CEMETERY, HUDDERSFIELD. Grave location:- 17R, 44G.
