Loyal "Good Samaritan" Lodge No. 698 of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity)

The Loyal "Good Samaritan" Lodge (No. 698) was a lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity) formed in the Upperthong area in 1833.

History

The lodge initially met at the George and Dragon Inn but moved to the Royal Oak prior to the 1858 anniversary meeting on 24 May.[1]
