Loyal "William the Fourth" Lodge No. 462 of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity)

The Loyal "William the Fourth"[1] Lodge (No. 462) was a lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity) formed in the Holmfirth area.

History

The 1857 anniversary dinner held on Shrove Tuesday at the Waggon & Horses Inn, Holmbridge.[2] The 1858 dinner was held at the same inn on Shrove Tuesday, after which a glee party "agreeably diversified the proceedings with a choice selection of music".[3]
