Loyal "Unity and Economy" Lodge No. 282 of the Grand United Order of Oddfellows (Huddersfield Unity)

The Loyal "Unity and Economy" Lodge (No. 282) was a lodge of the Grand United Order of Oddfellows (Huddersfield Unity) formed in 1833.

History

The lodge's 1858 anniversary dinner was held on Easter Monday at the Bull's Head Inn in Huddersfield with 130 members in attendance. Past Grand Master (P.G.M.) Joseph Whitacre was the chair, with Joshua Moorhouse as the vice-chair.[1]
