Loyal "Invitation" Lodge No. 1081 of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity)

The Loyal "Invitation" Lodge (No. 1081) was a lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows (Manchester Unity) formed in Huddersfield.

History

At a meeting held on 1 May 1854 at the Wheat Sheaf, Past Provincial Grand Master (P.P.G.M.) Owen Moran was presented with a "chaste and elegant silver medal", designed by William Fillan, on the occasion of him moving to Bradford.[1]

The 1857 dinner was held on Easter Monday at the Albert Inn with Noble Grand Thomas Roddy in the chair and Mr. R. Marshall as the vice-chair.[2]
