Neither Little Bermondsey or Temple Street were marked on the 1851 Town Plan.

According to White's Directory (1837), Temple Street was situated between Westgate and New North Road, and appears to have been lost during the construction of the Spring Wood Tunnel.

The 1837 Directory lists the following residents:

  • John & Matthew Hirst (woollen cloth manufacturers)
  • James Noble (currier & leather cutter)
