The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SENIOR, LINTON. Private. No 201857. 4th Battalion Seaforth Highlanders. Born Berry Brow, Huddersfield, 28.3.1896. Son of Mr and Mrs John Senior, 23 Trinity Street, Huddersfield. Educated Spring Grove Council School. Employed as an apprentice bootmaker and repairer by Mr Harold Brook, bootmaker, Thornton Road, Huddersfield. Attended New North Road Baptist Church. Single. Enlisted 19.2.1916. Killed in action at Roclincourt near Arras on 8.4.1917. Buried NINE ELMS MILITARY CEMETERY, THELUS. Grave location: Seaforth Grave Memorial 5.
