Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

SEYMOUR, LEWIS. Private. No 57558. 2/5th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Netherton, Huddersfield. Husband of Lily Seymour, Westgate, Meltham. Employed by Mr. J. A. Liversedge, dyer, Lord's Mill, Netherton. Was a playing member of Meltham Cricket Club. Attended Meltham Parish Church. Killed in action near Rheims on 20.7.1918, aged 33 years. Buried MARFAUX BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row D, Grave 9.
ROH:- St. Bartholomew's Church, Meltham.
