- KAYE, LEWIS HERBERT. Private. No 270125. 16th Battalion The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment). Born 21 West Place, Dalton, 25.3.1895. Son of Mrs C. Kaye. Educated Christ Church School, Moldgreen. Employed as a tailor by Messrs J. Sykes and Sons, tailors, Chapel Hill, Huddersfield. Single. Enlisted 11.4.1916. Killed in action, 26.8.1917, aged 23 years. Buried HARGICOURT BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row C, Grave 14.
