Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BRADBURY, LEWIS. Private. No 44787. 7th Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment. Born Marsden. Son of Mrs Harriet Bradbury, Eastwood Mount, Mount Road, Marsden. Employed as a minder at New Mills, Marsden. Attended the Wesleyan Church and Adult Bible Class. Enlisted May, 1917, and embarked for France in March, 1918. Killed in action, 7.6.1918, aged 19 years. Buried in AUCHONVILLERS MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row L, Grave 8.
ROH:- Marsden War Memorial; commemorated on memorial in Marsden Churchyard.
