BRETT, LEONARD. Lance Corporal. No 8332. 2nd Battalion Leinster Regiment. Born Halifax. Lived Stile House, Scammonden. Killed in action at Ypres, 15.8.1915, aged 26 years. Buried in POPERINGHE NEW MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row G, Grave 9.
