INTERESTING THINGS FROM THE RIDINGS.

Ald. J. A. Woolven, the retiring mayor of Huddersfield, yesterday accepted a unanimous invitation of the Town Council to occupy the mayoral chair for the ensuring year.

The Ramsden Estate at Huddersfield will, according to hints thrown out at the meeting of the Town Council yesterday, be known as the Huddersfield Estate.
