HOLMFIRTH.

Choral Society.

A vocal and instrumental concert was given by the members of the Holmfirth Choral Society on Thursday evening week, for the benefit of Mr. Joe Perkin, an infirm but well known musical composer of the district. The concert took place in the Town Hall, which was crowded to excess, numbers being unable to gain admittance. The concert was a most successful affair, and afforded great satisfaction to the whole company.
