Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WOODHOUSE, JOSEPH. Private. No 3030509. 58th Battalion Canadian Infantry (2nd Central Ontario Regiment). Born Huddersfield. Lived Cliffe End, Longwood. Emigrated to America. After several futile attempts to join an American unit he travelled 600 miles and enlisted in a Canadian Regiment. Killed in action, 1.10.1918, aged 43 years. Buried RAMILLIES BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Row C, Grave 8.
