Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

WOMERSLEY, JOSEPH. Private. No 245310. 10th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. Born Leeds. Son of Alfred and Alice Ann Womersley, 4 St. Paul's Street, Huddersfield. Lived Denby Dale. Employed by Messrs J. Kitson and Sons at the brickworks, Denby Dale. Enlisted December 1914. Reported missing, presumed killed, 16.10.1917, aged 21 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
