Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HAIGH, JOSEPH ARTHUR. Private. No 25511. 1/6th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Husband of Annie Haigh, 10 Armitage Road, Milnsbridge. Employed as a woollen teaser by Messrs C. and J. Hirst and Sons Limited, of Longwood. Enlisted March 1917. Embarked for France in April 1917. Killed in action, 16.4.1918, aged 36 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
