John Street is a former street in Huddersfield which was lost during the construction of the Ring Road and the redevelopment of the south-west part of the town.

It ran on the same alignment as Swallow Street and Princess Street, providing a direct connection to the latter, and connected Manchester Street to Buxton Road. It also formed a junction with Charles Street.

Location

Hints of John Street survive, such as the pedestrian walkway running on the same alignment which connects New Street to Albion Street.
