Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

ROBERTS, JOHN. Private. No 266475. 9th Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment. Formerly No 1667 Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Oldham. Son of Percy and Ada Roberts, of Marsden. Fell in raid near Caiga, between Asiago and Canove, Italy, on 20.7.1918, aged 23 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated GIAVERA MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING, ITALY.
