The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

PITCHFORK, JOHN. Private. No 34978. 9th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Formerly No 38958 East Yorkshire Regiment. Born Hooton Pagnell, Yorkshire. Son of Mrs Martha Ann Pitchfork, 3 Pickford Square, Milnsbridge. Killed in action, 4.11.1918, aged 19 years. Buried POIX-du-NORD COMMUNAL CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 1. Row B. Grave 4.
