The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KAYE, JOHN Sergeant. No S/312587. Army Service Corps, attached GHQ. Only surviving son of Mr Joah Kaye, 47 Colne Road, Huddersfield. Died of bronchial-pneumonia following upon influenza at a Casualty Clearing Station, in Italy. on 6.12.1918, aged 29 years. Buried MONTECCHIO-PRECALCINO COMMUNAL CEMETERY EXTENSION. Grave location:- Plot 9, Row C, Grave 4.
