BORTHWICK, JOHN EDWIN. Private. No 9877. 9th Battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. Born York. Lived Clayton West. Killed in action, 5.10.1917. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the TYNE COT MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
