Joe Radcliffe (1874-1917)

According to research by David Verguson, "Joe Radcliffe" was an alias for Corporal John Shaw.

- RADCLIFFE, JOE. Born Thornton Lodge 3.1.1874. Educated Oakes Council School. Employed as a plumber. Married. Enlisted at the outbreak of the war. Killed in action, 6.6.1917.
