Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BOOTHROYD, JOE. Private. Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Born Almondbury, 29.1.1881. Educated at Almondbury Central National School. Employed as a warehouseman in astrakhan and plush manufacture. Husband of Nellie Boothroyd, 55 Northgate, Almondbury. Enlisted 4.5.1917. Died in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary 'of the effects of war', 4.7.1920.
