- BAXTER, JOE. Rifleman. No 63774. 8th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Linthwaite. Son of George Henry and Sarah Ann Baxter, 124 Radcliffe Road, Crimble, Slaithwaite. Killed in action near Rheims, France, 27.7.1918, aged 18 years. Buried in COURMAS BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row G, Grave 10.
