James Wrigley (1808-1893)

Biography

He was born in 1808, the son of John and Hannah Wrigley and baptised 8 December 1808 at Highfield Independent Chapel, Huddersfield.

He married Sarah Shaw (c.1813-1889) at St. Mary, Elland, on 24 September 1834 and later lived at Field House, Netherton.

They had six children:

James Wrigley died on 12 April 1893, aged 84, and was buried at Holy Trinity, South Crosland, on 15 April.
