NOBLE, JAMES WILLIAM. Private. No 9182. 1st Battalion Wiltshire Regiment. Born Crosland Road, Lindley, 4.6.1890. Lived Birchencliffe. Employed as an apprentice by Messrs John Haigh and Sons Limited, engineers, Firth Street, Huddersfield. Enlisted July 1914. Killed in action, n 24.12.1914. Buried RUE-DAVID MILITARY CEMETERY, FLEURBAIX. Grave location:- Plot 1, Row H, Grave 43.
ROH:- Holy Trinity Church, Huddersfield.
