- SCHOFIELD, JAMES. Private. No 14424. 8th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Greenfield, Lancashire. Lived Linthwaite. Died in Malta of wounds received at the Dardenelles on 10.11.1915. Buried PIETA MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot D, Row 4, Grave 3.
