- RYAN, JAMES. Private. No 62409. 32nd General Hospital, Royal Army Medical Corps. Born Huddersfield. Son of James and Teresa Ryan, 17 River View, Aspley, Huddersfield. Employed as an apprentice by Messrs J. Holroyd and Company Limited, dyers and dry cleaners, Seed Hill, Huddersfield. Died from fever in Mesopotamia on 5.6.1916, aged 21 years. Buried BASRA WAR CEMETERY, IRAQ. Grave location:- Plot 5, Row S, Grave 10.
