Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

MOORE, JAMES. Private. No 2339. 1/8th Battalion Durham Light Infantry. Born Upper Denby, near Huddersfield. Son of the late Matthew and Hannah Moore. Enlisted with friends while living at St. Bede's College, Durham. Killed in action, 14.5.1915, aged 21 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
