LUCY, JAMES. Private. No 2424. 1/5th Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Paddington, London. Lived Low Town, Kirkburton. Killed by a sniper on 9.11.1915. Has no known grave. Commemorated MENIN GATE MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
ROH:- All Hallows Parish Church, Kirkburton; Huddersfield Drill Hall.
