The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

MALLYON, JAMES JOSEPH. Private. No 7511. 2nd Battalion Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Stepson of Alfred Lindley, 12 Ainley Junction, Huddersfield. Died of wounds, 10.11.1914, aged 39 years. Buried BOULOGNE EASTERN CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row C, Grave 9.
