The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

KELLY, JAMES HENRY. Driver. No L/5956. 'A' Battery, 155th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born Huddersfield. Husband of Mary Ellen (Nellie) Kelly, 32 Upperhead Row, Huddersfield. Employed in the street cleansing department of Huddersfield Corporation. Enlisted April 1915. Died of pneumonia and pleurisy at No 3 Casualty Clearing Station on 26.5.1918, aged 32 years. Buried BAGNEUX BRITISH CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 2, Row D, Grave 30).
