Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HAIGH, JAMES. Private. No 29310. 10th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment. Born Holmfirth. Third son of Mr and Mrs Henry Haigh, New Town, Holmfirth. Educated Holmfirth National School and the Wesleyan Sunday School. Was in business with his brothers as a plasterer. Enlisted Easter 1915. Killed in action, 27.8.1918, aged 22 years. Buried BULLS ROAD CEMETERY, FLERS. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row H, Grave 2.
