James Broadbent (c.1884-1916)

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:
- BROADBENT, JAMES. Private. No 20003. 1st Battalion King's Own Scottish Borderers. Born Liverpool. Son of Thomas and Margaret Broadbent; husband of Elizabeth Broadbent of Jackson Bridge, New Mill. Killed in action at Beaumont Hamel, 1.7.1916, aged 32 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the THIEPVAL MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
