Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BLAKEY, JAMES. Private. No 1789. 1/7th Battalion (Colne Valley Territorials) Duke of Wellington's Regiment. Born Bradford. Had lodged with Mrs Warrington, Warrington Terrace, Marsden, for three years before enlistment. Employed by Mr J.E. Crowther Bank Bottom Mills, Marsden as a cloth presser. Killed in action, 29.10.1915, aged 25 years. Buried in TALANA FARM CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 3, Row D, Grave 3.
