Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

BLAKE, JAMES. Private. No 45815. 12th Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers. Born Huddersfield. Lived with his sister, Mrs K. Sykes, at 17 Castlegate, Huddersfield. Employed as a labourer by British Dyes Limited. Attended St. Joseph's Church, Huddersfield. Killed in action at the Battle of Arras, 12.4.1917, aged 25 years. Has no known grave. Commemorated on the ARRAS MEMORIAL TO THE MISSING.
