Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922

The following extract is from Huddersfield's Roll of Honour: 1914-1922 (2014) by J. Margaret Stansfield:

HINCHLIFFE, JACK. Gunner. No L/25686. 'D' Battery, 84th Brigade Royal Field Artillery. Born Allen Row, Paddock, 30.7.1895. Son of Mr and Mrs Job Hinchliffe, 211 Marsden Road, Brierley Wood, Huddersfield. Educated Crosland Moor Council School. Employed as a woollen weaver. Single. Enlisted April 1915. Wounded in the head, 9.9.1917. Died of his wounds, 15.9.1917, aged 22 years. Buried DOZINGHEM MILITARY CEMETERY. Grave location:- Plot 8, Row B, Grave 17.
